Yes, Basic service or point-to-point service is just that. This economy transportation is not available for all occasions.

Can we get Basic point-to-point service for a bride and groom?

Sorry, no. Formal occasions, such as weddings, proms, etc., require formal limousine service. Even if you just want a pick up and drop off, formal rates still apply.

Do you have shuttle vans in Durango?

Yes. We operate a new fuel efficient Mercedes 7 passenger van and a 14 passenger AWD Transit van.

We need to shuttle our guests to the wedding ceremony. How many people can you accomodate?

We can carry a maximum of 21 passengers at one time using our two vans. For larger parties, we can stagger trips or rent vans to accommodate your group.

How many people can each car carry?

Mercedes-Benz E350 carries 3 – 4 comfortably.

Mercedes-Benz Metris van carries 7 passengers comfortably.

Mercedes-Benz GL450 carries 6 passengers comfortably.

The AWD Transit van carries 14 passengers comfortably.

Can we request a specific car or driver for Basic point-to-point services?

No. We will try to accommodate all your requests. however, specific cars are dispatched at our convenience. Individual drivers may be requested for Formal Hourly Sedan Service.

Is Basic point-to-point service different than traditional limo service?

Yes. Our Basic point-to-point service was designed to meet the demand for affordable and convenient transportation in Durango. This is achieved by efficiency resulting from cooperation between our passengers and drivers.
For example:

1. Drivers dress casually.
2. Drivers choose which vehicles they drive.
3. Drivers may make or receive phone calls.
4. Drivers will arrive on-time, not 15 minutes early.
5. Passengers itineraries are flexible.
6. Passengers appear immediately upon our arrival.

Formal Service includes the following:

1. Drivers are in uniform.
2. Vehicles are cleaned prior to service.
3. Drivers arrive 15 minutes early.
4. Doors are always opened and closed.
5. Passengers are given an amenity orientation.
6. Complimentary bottled water is provided.
7. Driver will only make or receive calls if directed.
8. Car can be decorated prior to service.
9. Special requests are granted.
10. Email confirmation and payment is done prior to your occupation.

Baggage and Luggage

Excessive Baggage

Seating capacity is directly related to the quantity and size of the luggage carried per passenger. Passengers carrying a normal sized checked bag and two small carry on bags are easily accommodated. Skis and snowboards are not a problem.

United Airlines defines an oversize bag by the following criteria:

• The maximum weight for any single bag is 50 lbs
• The maximum size is 62 linear inches (length+width+height)

I need a ride now. How long will it take you to get a car here?

In most cases, a car is available for immediate dispatch. “Drive Time” from downtown Durango to anywhere in town is 15 minutes or less, in most cases. The Durango La Plata County Airport is 20-30 minutes from town (Durango).

I don’t need a limousine, I just need a ride. Can you send a taxi cab?

Need a ride? Call (970) 769-0933. No, we cannot send a “cab” as we do not operate any “cabs”. We can send an unstretched Sedan and provide taxi-type service. We call it Basic point-to-point service. Call for a rate quote: (970) 769-0933.

How do I call Yellow Cab?

We are not Yellow Cab. Yellow Cab does not operate in the Four Corners area.

What’s the difference between a Sedan and a Yellow Cab?

Our Sedans are late model four door luxury cars. They are cleaned daily and detailed weekly. They are all black in color. There are no per person charges. Rates are consistent. On the other hand, a yellow cab has a meter and may impose on your privacy by picking up multiple parties. There is a per person charge in taxi cabs.
